Assistive Devices Program (ADP)

The Assistive Devices Program (ADP), supported by the Ontario government, helps people in the province with chronic issues and disabilities pay for customized equipment.

ProPT has a Registered ADP Authorizer

 

​As a registered ADP authorizer, ProPT can assist with applications for the following devices:​

 

  • Mobility Devices: Rollators/walkers for impaired mobility​​

  • Pressure Modification Devices: Compression garments for lymphedema

Who Qualifies?​
​

To be eligible for the program, you must:

​
  • Be an Ontario resident.

  • Have a valid Ontario health card.

  • Have a disability requiring the equipment or supplies for 6 months or longer.

​

Your income is not considered in the qualification process.Role of the ADP Authorizer (ProPT)

​

As your ADP authorizer, we will guide you through the process by:

 

  • Recommending ADP-approved assistive devices.

  • Completing the ADP application form with you.

  • Providing a list of approved ADP vendors.

  • Following up to ensure your complete satisfaction with the device.​
